Mark of Johannes Hallegraaf, Deventer, 1753, also struck with later Dutch duty mark
Shaped rectangular, on four shaped rocaille feet, between the feet an openwork band of scrolls and rocaille, the body with fluted corners (with some repairs), the sides engraved with srolling foliage, a basket of fruits and tassel against matted ground, detachable parly fluted, high-domed cover, each side engraved with scrolling foliage, shells and tassels against matted ground, double baluster finial, the base inscribed AHD conjoined and Ao 1756, marked on base
