THE FAUTEUIL CIRCA 1755, THE SIDE CHAIRS LATE 19TH EARLY 20TH CENTURY, WITH SQUAB-CUSHIONS SUPPLIED BY ALBERTO PINTO
Comprising:- a fauteuil and nine chaises en cabriolet, the fauteuil with waved caned back and scrolled arms above a cream and ivory crewelwork squab-cushion supplied by Alberto Pinto, the seat-rail carved with trailing flowers, on cabriole legs, restorations, indistinctly stamped; together with a set of nine Louis XV-style oak chaises en cabriolet, each with a curved caned backrest with flowerheads, on cabriole legs headed, six with upholstered squab-cushion in damas de coton rose, supplied by Alberto Pinto, the others covered in cream and ivory crewelwork by Alberto Pinto en suite with the fauteuil
