Half titles, large folding general map of Switzerland, hand-coloured in outline, 2 folding plans, errata slip at end of volume II (a few light spots). Very finely-bound in contemporary scarlet morocco by Renouard, covers with elaborate gilt-tooled borders, spines gilt in compartments, gilt edges, turquoise watered silk liners, with 4 additional blank vellum endpapers (extremities lightly rubbed).
