A PAIR OF CONTINENTAL REVERSE-PAINTED GLASS PICTURES DEPICTING SCENES FROM THE LIFE OF DON QUIXOTE
depicting Don Quixote leaping onto his horse and at a Courtly audience, each in carved Regence-style gilt-composition and giltwood frames carved with husks and hatched C-scrolls, one cracked, one signed in full lower right, the other with initials A.B.V.E., one with label to reverse for Léon Gruel Paris
