Pendentif fondu représentant un personnage humain musclé portant un masque à tête d'aigle et vêtu d'une simple ceinture, dont les jambes arquées se terminent par des pieds stylisés reposant sur une base allongée représentant un serpent à double tête, les épaules larges et les bras écartés aux mains liées à la même base par un motif de cordes et dont la tête au fort relief, à la bouche ouverte, aux yeux proéminents et au bec retroussé, est surmontée d'une haute et large coiffure stylisée. Crochets de suspension à l'arrière.

Cast in the form of muscular male figure wearing harpy eagle's head mask, standing on a stylized double-headed serpent bar, with broad pointed shoulders and taloned hands, the prominent beak downturned, with beaded eyes and scrolled ears, and wearing a large flaring headdress; suspension loop on the reverse.

The harpy-eagle is one of the most powerful birds of the rain forest, believed to carry the souls of the dead to the after-life; their plumes were worn as crests only by the highest ranking members of society.

L'aigle est considéré comme un des oiseaux aux pouvoirs les plus puissants de la forêt tropicale et comme une aide au voyage de l'âme des défunts vers l'au-delà. Ses plumes étaient portées sur la tête seulement par les personnages les plus importants de la société.
