A LIMEHOUSE BLUE AND WHITE SHELL-SHAPED PICKLE-DISH
CIRCA 1747
Painted with a vase of feathers resting on a scroll flanked by feathers entwined with ribbon, scattered birds and an insect, the underside with tendrils and foliage (two minute rim chips and slight staining)
3¾ in. (9.5 cm.) long
