CIRCA 1775
The centre painted with a two-storey chinoiserie building with a spherical cupola, on a river island beside a tree, a pine-tree further to the left with pendant branches and a grassy boulder in the foreground, the flared pierced sides with alternating circular and fan-shaped panels of flowers and river landscapes, the exterior with reeded overlapping arches joined by horizontal bands painted with trailing flowers (rim chips and fritting)
8 7/8 in. (22.7 cm.) wide.
