Painted in variation of the Kakiemon palette with the so-called 'Lady-and-Pavillion' pattern of a lady in a kimono before a veranda with birds in flight, a birdcage, and a border of drapery (teabowl with slight fritting and flaking to rim, saucer broken into two sections and reglued)
