The can with a central gilt-edged sepia oval medallion with a shrub, enclosed by a garland and flanked by large arabesque scrolls issuing foliage and terminating in paterae, above three bands below, the central ribbon-tied oak leaf garland band between two mauve bands with garlands of meandering purple foliage, the ear-shaped handle moulded with a gilt foliage thumbpiece and gilt with husks, the saucer similarly decorated about a central pale-green and puce patera, gilt band rims (areas of minute wear)
