CIRCA 1725-30
Seated with his right hand resting on his raised right knee, his left leg tucked beneath his right, his pierced mouth open in laughter, his bald head with pierced ears, his face, partly-exposed torso, hands and foot subtly enriched in flesh tones, his lips in red, his eyes, eye-brows and hair behind his ears enriched in brown enamel, wearing a loose yellow-edged white garment incised with folds and decorated in green, turquoise, blue, puce, red, black and gilding with flamboyant stylised foliage scrolls, rockwork and indianische Blumen (slight chipping to footrim, toes and left ear, reverse with two slight firing cracks to footrim, areas of slight wear)
