with apricot mohair, black boot button eyes, pronounced clipped muzzle, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed elongated limbs with felt pads and hump, circa 1906 --19¾in. (50cm.) high (bald patch at the back of each top of leg, right hand hole part patched and dusty)

Provenance
Benjamin is a bear of New England descent, a family originally from Maine (with French roots of the early settlers there). He has lived a comfortable life in suburban Connecticut.
