A Steiff male doll
possibly a school teacher with felt face, black boot button eyes, painted features, balding head with grey mohair hair, swivel head, jointed limbs with large felt hands, integral black felt tail-coat, trouser and waistcoat with white collar, brown leather boots and felt soles, circa 1912 --13½in. (34.5cm.) high (repairs to three fingers on right hand and nose, moth hole to forehead, discoloured, some fading and boots rubbed)
