Cast as a young gentleman and a young lady, he in Cavalier costume of knee breeches, coat and shirt with bow tie, his hat upon the rocky ground, carrying an oblong basket with woven and ribbon-wrapped reeded sides and rope-twist handle, she in elegant shepherdess costume with ribboned bodice and flowers in her upswept hair, carrying a large oval open basket, both on shaped circular base cast with foliate scrolls and rocaille, marked on base, each also stamped 'GARRARD PANTON ST. LONDON' or 'GARRARD & CO. LTD. REGENT ST. LONDON.'
