Tapering cylindrical on moulded foot, the spout with hinged cover and the part-wood handle with cut-card work terminals, the handle applied with reeded and pierced scroll silver mount, the detachable hinged part-fluted domed cover chased with scallop and pellet borders and with hinged baluster finial, wrythen thumbpiece and hinge pin with chain, the body engraved with a coat-of-arms, marked on body and cover bezel
