Tasting note: The 1997 Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits an over-ripe, flamboyant nose of jammy black currants intermixed with licorice, spice, and floral scents. The wine is fat and opulently-textured with gobs of fruit. Its low acidity and big, chewy constitution suggest it can be drunk now as well as over the next 7-8 years.
