Tasting note: Settled down to a cépage mix similar to the '87 and '88. Tasted at Gassac in 1994: very high mark, deep, fairly intense; very rich, deep, 'tea and chocolate' nose: good fruit ,flesh, extract. Most recently: very good nose, distictly sweet, distinctive fruit; nice weight 12.7 similar to the previous four vintages. Now-2010 ***(*). M.B. (Sept 2001)
