carved standing grasping an oni by his side; an ivory nesuke of two puppies at play; an ivory netsuke of a shrew; a lacquered wood manju netsuke; a wood netsuke in the form of a mushroom and a small wood box carved on either side as a smiling face -- 3 1/8in. (7.9cm.) high max. (6)
