A Japanese ivory netsuke of a boy on a buffalo, 19th century
carved with the boy playing a flute, seated on top of a recumbent tethered buffalo beside a basket, signed -- 1½in. (3.8cm.) wide; and an ivory netsuke of a dancer, 19th Century, carved wearing long flowing robes decorated with incised geometric motifs, with one arm raised in the air, an inset coral bead to the top of the head, signed Hidemasa -- 2¼in. (5.7cm.) high. (2)
