a painted fan with chickenskin leaf, the verso of paper, painted with a couple in a landscape, the ivory sticks carved to resemble a bundle of rods when closed, a form known as Pagoda sticks, the upper guardsticks finely carved and pierced with two figures on a balcony and with flowers - 11.5in.
