A tunic of pink and orange striped velvet trimmed with gold lace and black beading, the front decorated with a double row of gold bows and copper discs, with 'false' shirt, the sleeves trimmed with a band of pink velvet and gold braid above the elbow, the tunic inscribed inside at the neck in an unknown hand NOUREEV [sic] -- worn by Rudolf Nureyev in the role of Basilio in Act 1 of the Vienna State Opera Ballet's production of Don Quixote, 1966, choreography by Nureyev, designed by Barry Kay, premièred 1st December, 1966
