Superman, 1979
A collection of negatives and prints, the shots taken by Bob Penn, all prints with photographer's ink-credit to reverse, comprising:
- five colour slides of Christopher Reeve as Superman, including two of Superman flying across the Manhattan skyline, one of Superman flying past the Statue of Liberty and one of Superman flying by the Boulder Dam;
- four colour prints of Christopher Reeve as Superman [two duplicates], majority -- 18x12in. (30.5x46cm.);
- an issue of American Cinematographer magazine, featuring an article The Flying And Filming of "Superman", January, 1979; and - two colour photographs of Helen Slater as Supergirl, largest -- 12x18in. (30.5x46cm.)
