The anglaise riche case with Corinthian columns, the bone dial ink-engraved with figures and trophies emblematic of Love and overlaid with a silvered filigree mask, with silvered Arabic chapter ring and pierced gilt-metal centre mount, blued steel spade and pointer hands, the eight day twin barrel movement with silvered platform to lever escapement with cut bimetallic balance, strike/repeat on gong to back plate stamped for E. Maurice & Co. and numbered 109 -- 6 7/8in. (17.5cm.) high to fold of handle
