The arched case with gadrooned mouldings, the sides with brass loop handles above tracery arch silk-backed sound frets, mother-of-pearl escutcheons to the locks, with scrolling brass line inlays to the front and on bracket feet, the white painted Roman convex dial with blued steel hands, the eight day twin wire fusee movement with shouldered plates joined by five pillars, anchor escapement and strike/trip repeat on bell -- 18¾in. (48cm.) high
