The waisted case with Chronos finial and lenticle glass to the trunk below a female mask mount, decorated with floral marquetry panels to the front and sides, on paw feet, the foliate cast dial applied with individual white enamel Roman cartouche chapters, the substantial English triple chain fusee movement with anchor escapement, long pendulum with radiant mask bob, quarter chiming on two sets of double gongs with four hammers and hour strike on further gong, numbered 1089 on the back plate -- 93in. (236cm.) high
