A George III mahogany thirty-hour longcase clock, circa 1795
With scroll arch cresting centred by a later brass finial, with outset columns, with shallow-arched trunk door and on stepped plinth, the 11in. square (repainted) white dial with gilt scroll spandrels to a Roman and Arabic chapter ring with crossed minute track, signed WASTELL/CAMBORNE, the four pillar movement with anchor escapement and outside countwheel strike on bell; possibly associated -- 83½in. (212cm.) high
