The case with brass handle to breakarch top, with arched brass fishscale sound frets to the sides and brass mouldings to the front door angles, further fishscale sound frets to the front door, on brass bracket feet, the white painted Roman dial signed J.C. MOORE/WORTHING & TARRING, blued steel arrow hands, strike/silent lever to the case above XII, the eight day twin wire fusee movement with anchor escapement, strike/trip repeat on bell, the rectangular plates with engraved border to the back plate with pendulum holdfast, the front plate signed and numbered THWAITES/3215 -- 15¾in. (40cm.) high to fold of handle
