FIRST EDITION, a rare and important work on Miners' Diseases. Henkel, a German naturalist, wrote about the history of occupational diseases, including the "Bergsucht", which he defined as the well-known lung sickness complicated by consumptive fever. NLM/Blake, p. 207.
