FIRST EDITION OF THE FIRST AMERICAN SURGICAL TEXTBOOK TO INCLUDE AN EXTENSIVE SECTION ON PLASTIC SURGERY. The fine lithographs graphically illustrate some of the important surgical procedures of the 19th century. Pancoast was Professor of both Surgery and Anatomy at Jefferson Medical College, and developed a number of new operations. Garrison-Morton 5598; Waller 7083.
