FIRST EDITION. Antonio Scarpa, a pupil of Morgagni, was a professor of anatomy and surgery at Modena, Paris and Vienna. He was also a remarkable artist, thus creating plates that are faithful anatomic representations. Garrison-Morton 1453; Waller 8532.
