An Italian bronze and ormolu inkstand
Third quarter 19th century
Modelled as a tripod urn with lion masks, surmounted by the figure of Cupid, on a marmo rosso lavento plinth
7in. (18cm.) high;
and a Continental parcel-gilt bronze ring stand, modelled with cavorting bears, the base cast as three adorsed elephant heads, on a black marble plinth -- 7¾in. (19.5cm.) high (2)
