Chancery 2° (299 x 200mm). Gothic type, double column, printed initials, some initial spaces with printed guide-letter. (Some browning, some small wormholes affecting the beginning of the text.) Contemporary half German blindstamped pigskin over wooden boards, two brass fore-edge clasps (rebacked). Provenance: strip of 13th-century German manuscript vellum on the upper pastedown -- Erhardus Battmanus (early inscription on title) -- Freiburg, Collegis Pacis (booklabel dated 1756).
