Chancery 4° (208 x 145mm). Gothic type, eight illuminated initials, other initials supplied in blue or red, rubricated. (Without first and last blank, small marginal repairs in first quire, one small marginal wormhole, some dampstaining.) Contemporary wooden boards, blindtooled with cross set in panel (rebacked, edges replaced, wormholes). Provenance: unidentified illuminated coat-of-arms on lower margin a2 -- early marginal annotations. HC *1946; BMC V, 277; GW 2863; Goff A-1216.
