GUILLERMUS Parisiensis (attributed to). Postilla super epistolas et evangelia. Basel: Nicolaus Kesler, 1 October 1492.
Super-chancery 4° (212 x 153mm). Gothic type, double column, woodcut on title, 52 smaller woodcuts (some repeats), printer's device, one woodcut initial, rubricated. (A few marginal repairs, k1.8 reinforced at margin, a little marginal worming, some staining.) Remboitage of blindstamped calf over wooden boards, single large brass clasp, vellum bifolium of ?15th-century breviary, a palimpset, as endleaves (rebacked, back board rubbed). Provenance: ?shelfmark on a3 (No. 122).
This edition is a close copy of Furter's (Basel; 28 July 1491), with the exceptions that the title woodcut is on the recto rather than the verso and four leaves are saved on part II. H *8279; BMC III, 770; Schreiber 4147; Goff G-692.
