Chancery 2° (277 x 191mm). Roman and Greek types, initial spaces, most with guide-letter, first leaf rubricated. (First three leaves remargined, first and last leaves discoloured, light dampstaining, mostly marginal.) Early 20th-century red morocco gilt by Wood of London. Provenance: one early marginal annotation -- ?Duke of Sussex (armorial bookplate [described as 'inserted' by Sotheby's in 1946], not in his sales 1844-5) -- [Richard G. S. King, the Very Rev. The Dean of Derry, sold Sotheby's 16 December 1946] -- William Foyle (booklabel; sale Christie's 11 July 2000, lot 241).
