Chancery 4° (300 x 203mm). Gothic letter, double column, initial spaces, some with guide letter. (Marginal dampstaining, a little soiling.) Limp vellum binding from a folio leaf of a 15th century rubricated theological manuscript (worn, splits in spine, wormholes to upper cover). Provenance: marginalia, ink names on title.
Franciscus de Platea (Francesco Piazza) was born in Bologna and entered the order of Friars in 1424. H 13040; BMC V, 227; Goff P-758.
