THE CUP CIRCA 1765, THE SAUCER 18TH CENTURY
The first painted with Oriental figures before trees and rockwork, the interior rim underglazed in blue with arch and pendant ornament (some rubbing to gilt rim), the saucer similarly painted with groups of Orientals at leisure, within a similar border (glaze crack to underside, minute chipping to rims, some glaze flaking) (2)
