An English porcelain dark-blue ground part dinner and dessert-service
CIRCA 1860, PROBABLY COALPORT, PRINTED RETALER'S MARKS FOR DANIELL, LONDON, IRON-RED PATTERN NUMBER 4282
Printed and painted with a central bouquet of fruit and flowers within shaped gilt borders, within gilt feathered rims, comprising:
A large circular tureen and cover with artichoke finial
A circular two-handled footed bowl
Two circular dishes and covers
A small circular sauce-tureen, cover and stand and another small tureen and cover
Four shaped-oblong serving-dishes in sizes
Four soup-plates
Nine dinner-plates
and two circular plates with scrolled rims en suite, gilt with pattern number 4/887 (slight rubbing to gilding and surface scratching to enamels)
