Each with a circular facet-cut dish with waved rim supported by a central column terminating in a scrolling foliate capital with a ribbon-bound ring finial, above a leaf-wrapped base and concave-sided tripartite plinth with scrolling foliate volute supports joined by a laurel wreath and a stiff-leaf cast edge, each stamped 'THOMIRE A PARIS.' and with blue chalk inscription 'SA16712', each lacking further glass dish, one dish with crack

Pierre-Philippe Thomire (1751-1843).

The blue chalk inscription 'SA16712' to the undersides of the surtout as well as the two pairs of cut-glass and ormolu etageres are probably inventory marks of the Royal House of Savoy.
