ATTRIBUTED TO PIERRE-PHILIPPE THOMIRE, CIRCA 1810
Each with facetted circular graduated dishes supported by a central column surmounted by a ribbon-bound ring finial, on a circular base with three classically draped dancing maidens, the stepped base decorated with scrolling foliage and flower heads, on a leaf-tip cast circular spreading plinth, one stamped 'THOMIRE A PARIS.', both with blue chalk inscription 'SA16712', minor losses to the ormolu elements, including garlands to the figures and one capital to a column support

Pierre-Philippe Thomire (1751-1843).

The blue chalk inscription 'SA16712' to the undersides of the surtout as well as the two pairs of cut-glass and ormolu etageres are probably inventory marks of the Royal House of Savoy.
