The white enamelled circular pierced dial with Roman and Arabic numerals on concentric minute, hour and calendar ring and eight day twin barrel movement with pinwheel escapement and strike on bell, within a lyre-shaped open frame with beaded border and surmounted by a ribbon-cast finial, the knife-edge suspended sun-burst pendulum cast with a mask of Apollo, on round supports and adjustable base, above a later stepped rectangular plinth with beaded edge and toupie feet, wtih a rectangular glazed cover
