Decorated to one side with an exotic landscape with various birds between bamboo and flower sprays, within a narrow black and gold decorated border, the reverse with inscription and geometric motif to the lower part, minor areas of restoration to decoration, the hinges replaced, most probably reduced form a ten or twelve-leaf screen
Each leaf: 109 in. (277 cm.) high; 18½ in. (47 cm.) wide

Lot Essay

The inscription commemorating a birthday and dedicated to Qi Weihuan, chief Governor of Anfu.
It appears to have been the single gift of three donors: Wang Yuanmei (General Officer of Justice of Yibei), Mo Jlahuan (County Chief of Putian), and Song Yinling (County Chief of Xiayu)
