ITALIAN, EARLY 18TH CENTURY
Decorated overall with recessed panels within ripple-mouldings, the stepped octagonal hinged top inlaid with a monogram, inset with a painted panel to the reverse depicting Diana, enclosing a fitted blue-silk lined interior with sixteen compartments, above a further hinged lid with octagonal mirror panel to the reverse enclosing an interior fitted with various compartments and drawers, on gilt-metal bun feet
