A William IV small ebonised and ormolu-mounted quarter-striking table clock

The case with cherub finial and inset filigree mounts to the cupola top, glazed side panels within ormolu frames and below drop handles, with projecting scroll angles applied with leaf mounts, on double scroll feet and secured to a plinth, with ormolu door and silvered sight ring to a dial with mask and foliate spandrels to silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring with fleur-de-lys half hour markers, signed Perigal London, blued steel hands, the arch with strike/silent ring, the eight day movement with shouldered plates, twin chain fusees with anchor escapement, repeat signature to the back plate, also with pendulum holdfast (lacking screw), with quarter chimes on two gongs; pendulum
