A PLAINS QUILLED HORN SPOON AND A NORTHWEST COAST MOUNTAIN SHEEP HORN SPOON
the first, with shallow circular bowl and narrow handle, wrapped with ivory, red, yellow, purple, and green-dyed porcupine quills in a banded pattern, with small hide finial and quill-wrapped tassels terminating in metal cones, inscribed Apache; the second, with slender bowl tapering to a slightly curved handle, pierced through at top
