A MATCHED SET OF TWELVE ENGLISH MAHOGANY DINING-CHAIRS
FOUR CHAIRS CIRCA 1785, THE OTHERS 19TH CENTURY
Comprising: ten side chairs and two open armchairs, each with arched top rail above a pierced splat and padded dished seat covered in black material, on channelled gently cabriole legs, the armchairs with downswept supports, four side chairs with palmettes at head of the front legs, six stamped 'G.C', seven chairs numbered 3264 to 3270, three with depository labels printed 'SPIKE' (12)
