A related mid-18th Century mahogany chest bedstead supplied for Nostell Priory, Yorkshire and now at Temple Newsam House, Leeds, was sold by the Winn Family, Nostell Priory, Christie's house sale, 30 April - 1 May 1990, lot 225. A design for a deal bureau bedstead with five sham drawers and corded canvas frame features in the 1788 Gillows Estimate Sketch Book preserved in the Westminster Library (C. Gilbert, Vernacular Furniture, Leeds, 1991, p.139).
