A 'PSEUDO TOBACCO LEAF' SQUARE BOWL
LATE 18TH CENTURY
Enamelled around the exterior with pairs of Mandarin ducks beside large, underglaze blue lotus pads highlighted in gilt, growing large pink hibiscus and lily blooms which trail curling leaves and tendrils of flowering vine, the interior with a border of fruit and flower sprigs along the notched rim and in the center a spray of roses
10½ in. (26.6 cm.) diam.
