Circa 1785
Each of flaring squared form and rising from a blue-glazed base with bracket feet, pairs of unusual moth-form handles, the sides decorated with elaborate lakeside garden scenes showing peacocks and puppies amusing noble Chinese families, all reserved on a turquoise stippled ground strewn with bats, moths and blossoms in low relief, the separate square stands edged in rosevine and glazed blue inside
