With a serpentine-mirror-panelled door enclosing three adjustable shelves below a dentilled broken pediment, the lower section with a hinged slope enclosing a fitted interior with six small drawers, two pigeon-holes and a central cupboard, above four graduated drawers, on ogee bracket feet, restoration to the cornice

The temple-pedimented cabinet's mirrored door is serpentined in the George II French 'picturesque' manner, as adopted in the 1740s by the Clerkenwell cabinet-maker Giles Grendey (d. 1780) ( C. Gilbert, Pictorial Dictionary of Marked London Furniture, Leeds, 1996, fig. 433).
