Colonel David Lion Gardiner (1816-1892)

David Gardiner was the son of David Gardiner (1784-1844). He married Sarah Thompson, daughter of David Thompson (see catalogue no. 272). His daughter, Sarah Diodati (1862-1953) became the 15th Proprietor of Gardiner's Island.
